Description

This was taken at the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival on the Mall in Washington, DC in 2013. The hands belong to a Hungarian woman folksinger. I noticed that she was nervous performing before the large crowd and was twisting her fingers together as she sang. She needn't have worried, she did fine, singing in a high clear voice that captured the audience from the start.
