This was shot from Gift Hill on the island of St. John in the USVI. the sun was just about to sink below the horizon when the sea took on this incredible hue.It reminded me of liquid gold and was gone in a few moments.
About Bill Jonscher
I have been a photographer for over 40 years. I have worked in and managed a portrait studio, shot yearbook pictures, stock photography, weddings, events, concerts, sports, and worked as a lab tech for Penn camera in Washington, DC for many years. My images have appeared in the Washington Post, in the book "Maryland Outdoors", and on numerous websites.
