I was on the steps on the Supreme Court building on a rare warm winter day when I looked up and saw this image. It was later published in the Washington Post as part of a "my favorite Washington pictures" competition.

I have been a photographer for over 40 years. I have worked in and managed a portrait studio, shot yearbook pictures, stock photography, weddings, events, concerts, sports, and worked as a lab tech for Penn camera in Washington, DC for many years. My images have appeared in the Washington Post, in the book "Maryland Outdoors", and on numerous websites.
