Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have been a photographer for over 40 years. I have worked in and managed a portrait studio, shot yearbook pictures, stock photography, weddings, events, concerts, sports, and worked as a lab tech for Penn camera in Washington, DC for many years. My images have appeared in the Washington Post, in the book "Maryland Outdoors", and on numerous websites.
